Influx, the unique magazine designed to share Adrian Flux Insurance’s passion for car and bike culture has been expertly crafted by the design team at Maze Media, and in early 2013 the latest edition, Influx/08, was about to change what people expected from a motoring magazine.
On Thursday April 18th Maze flexed their event planning muscles and proudly presented the magazine to all-comers, from high flyers in the motoring press to motor manufacturers and art directors, as well as anyone with an interest in car and bike culture with an exciting launch in London, fuelled by passion for the project and, er, hot dogs.
Heading to Shoreditch with the new magazines and the fantastic commissioned artwork (plus a decent helping of the aforementioned hotdogs) the Maze team set about transforming 71a into a showcase for Influx/08.
With spine-tingling live music from Ruby and the Ribcage following a few short films about Influx’s love of cars and bikes, and a Q&A session with contributor Gary Inman, it was more than just a chance to see the new magazine, it was a chance to see the people, passion and hard work that had gone into it.
